October is becoming more popular because of Halloween, keep trying online and expand your dates by two weeks or more and then cancel the dates you dont want by calling, thats what I and a lot of other people do..

They tend to block off weekend only reservations. Try 2 weeks starting on a Wednesday. That usually works for me. Then you can call back and cancel unneeded dates.

I just looked. There are preferred and premium sites available November 11 - 17

If you book November 9 - 23, Partial, Full, and Premium come up.

The trick is to look for more dates than you need. A minium of 14 nights. Start your stay on a Tues or Wed. You should be able to get a site.

Once you are booked and your deposit paid, then call and cancel the extra days.
