Other than the absence of a connecting door, what would be the difference between a dedicated 1b/studio and a lockoff?
My guess would be that it has somthing to do with occupancy levels. Making them all lockoffs gives the maximum versatility throughout the property. With dedicated rooms, you run the risk of having a dedicated studio and 1B unoccupied, while having to turn away someone who may want to book a 2B.
