Ok, here is what I'd like to do. . . We are going the last week in May and will be getting 2 rooms at the CR for 4 days/4 nights. I'd like to get 1 AP so we can get the discount now being offered. There will be 6 of us. 4 adults, 1 17 year old and a 1 year old. We want 4 day PH tickets for everyone else and the DDP for all of us. What do I do?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that if you only have 1 AP in the room, you can only get one room discounted.

To get that AP room discount, you should call reservations and ask them for the AP rate and see if it is available. If it is, they will make the change and they can add the the dining plan to that reservation for all that are in the room, as well as your ticket purchase.

ETA: You might want to explore other room options (like a 2 bedroom villa) that you could apply the single AP discount to. Just a thought, but not sure of the dynamics of your group.

Yes-1 adult AP holder per discounted room.

You don't need an AP to book the room-just need it at checkin so you could book with AP discount for now and keep an eye out for other general public discounts to come out for your dates.

I rarely find that the AP discounts are that much greater than general public that it would cover the cost an an AP to get it.

Also the CR rooms hold 5 plus one under 3 so you could do 1 room if that worked for you.

When I planned my trip for June 2011, one AP could be used to book 2 rooms. I expressed my question when booking and the CM told me that this is a policy that's changed a few times recently but it was definitely 2.

Hope this helps!

The quote below is from the current AP discount thread. The CM that poster talked to said 1 AP holder per room. I would hate to get to the resort and be asked to show an AP for each room and not have it. That being said I frequently book with an AP rate and rarely am asked to show my actual pass at check in.

Hello Everyone! New to being an AP, but not new to WDW. It was my understanding that I can book up to 3 rooms on my AP with the discount. I just called and they said, no only my room. You need other AP holders in the other rooms. I stood my ground and he came back corrected: I could do one room per AP holder over the age of 18, maximum 3 rooms.

????????????????? What?????????????????????????? :confused3

Can someone tell me if I need to call back again if this information is incorrect!
