Im confused about this new wristband policy for the upcomming Haunted Attractions Pins. It says...
"Wristband Distribution... Wristbands will be distributed entitling bearers the opportunity to purchase limited edition pins released in association with the "Haunted Attraction Collection - Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ." Wristbands for pins will be distributed near the front entrance of the Disney-MGM Studios starting at 7:30 A.M. until 9:00 A.M. on day of release. Wristbands will then be available at the Sorcerer's Hat Shop until 12 Noon or while supplies last. Holding or reserving a place in line for others in your party will not be allowed. Guests who wish to obtain a wristband to purchase a pin must be present when the line forms or they will be escorted to the back of the line.
Wristbands are limited. Wristbands will be valid for the purchase of the pins at the designated merchandise location until 2:00 P.M. on the day of distribution only. At 2:00 P.M., any remaining pins will be available for purchase at the designated merchandise location by persons who have not previously purchased the pin(s) on the day of release. Theme park admission to Disney-MGM Studios is required. Lost, stolen or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Wristbands have no cash value. Restrictions apply. Subject to change without notice."
Do these things normally sell out? Meaning do i need a wrist band? And it seems odd, they give out wristband from 7:30-9, then again at noon... so only people with bands can buy pins until 2PM. Is this a normal Disney process? It seems like im going to be spending all my time on lines just to get a pin. Can anybody fill me in on there experiences with this?
