Could only get 8 am Bkfsts even on EMH mornings

I know that there are earlier ADR times but I could only get 8am even on the EMH mornings. I'll have to keep checking for availability.

If the park opens at 8 on an EMH morning, I'd like to have breakfast at 7ish so I can get a lot covered once park opens.

You are correct. The OP will have to change dates to get a reservation before the park opens if that's what they are looking for. Only places like Chef Mickey's will be open before 8.

They must have changed dining hours for the parks. I remember getting early hours on previous visits.

Not in the last four years have they had earlier ADRs inside the parks. Not to my knowledge anyway and you can bet if they had anything earlier I would be on it like white on rice.

8AM is the earliest reservation time for breakfast at an in park restaurant, even with morning EMH or when they open earlier. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.

Me, too. Even when EMH starts at 7, the in-park restaurants don't open until 8:00.

I think Chef Mickey's opens at 7 or 7:30 and 'Ohana opens at 7:30, but Crystal Palace, CRT, Tusker House and Hollywood and Vine open at 8:00. That doesn't mean they never opened earlier, but that's been the opening time for as long as I can remember, and we've been doing character breakfasts for a decade.

At already posted, the earlier reservation for any breakfast in the parks is 8AM. Only outside places like Ohana and Chef Mickey offer anything earlier

While park hours can change depending on EMH and the season, the restaurant hours remain the same. The earliest ADR for a in park restaurant is 8am. Restaurants like Cape May and Chef Mickey open earlier.
