My DH was chatting with his dental hygienist and mentioned we were going to US/IOA. She started telling him that they had just been there (I think over Christmas break) and how much she loved it and listing all the rides we have to be sure to go on. Then she told him that her best advice would be to sleep in and go later because when they went it seemed everyone was there early in the am and it was packed but around 11 everyone was leaving to have lunch or go rest up or whatever and the lines went way down. This is just the opposit of what you are all tellling us to do. So what do you think? :confused3 Maybe because everyone is following your advice now eveyone is getting there early and leaving for the afternoon!? Could it be that you guys and all your great advice has had such a profound effect that it is reversing the norm and the afternoons will now be better?? If you guys keep giving out all this great advice maybe soon the single rider wait times will be longer than the reg. line and Disney will be empty because everyone is at US/IOA. :scared: And then I'm afarid maybe the earth will start spinning the other way!!!! I think you are all going to have to stop, stop, stop giving out all this great advice before we have a major catastrophe on our hands!! ( well except to me, you can still give me some great advice. I don't think that would hurt anything. )

But seriously - what do you think of her comment that is was LESS busy in the afternoons?

Actually, her experience is quite unusual. (I am trying to say this in the most diplomatic way possible).

Get there early--it gets busy from 11:00 AM. Nothing has changed. Maybe there was an horrific rain storm at 11:00 AM when she got there that cleared the park. Either that are she is nuts. ;)

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: Well, that was *mostly* diplomatic... :teeth:

That's what I wondered too, maybe there were weather "issues" that caused it to clear out...but then, I didn't consider that she just might be nuts! :hyper: :rotfl2:

good golly miss molly.................

what was the dental hygentist smoking?

no one here can tell you that you really need to follow our advice.
no one here would deliberately guide you incorrectly.

people that post here with answers either work at universal, go to universal regularly or know enough about that place and take the time to help others here.

Maybe it was my DH's breath??? :crazy2: I trust you guys - or I wouldn't keep bugging you with all my questions. :thumbsup2 Ummm - and thanks for all the great advice BTW. This place is the best thing next to actually going to FL!!!!!

In the summer time when they were open until 9:00 at night I noticed how empty it got after 4:00 or 5:00. While we were staying onsite and had fotl, we still zoomed on and off of everything, and it was so much cooler. The rest of the days we went in the a.m. and left around 1:00 to eat and swim and went back in the evening.
