Could I request a prayer for Thom's dad's brother?

They found out he had liver cancer in October or November (I can't remember which one.) He has gone downhill very quickly and they're not expecting him to live very much longer. Other than Thom's dad, he is probably my favorite relative of Thom's. I know I'm not really part of that family any more (although Thom's dad still considers me his daughter), but I'm pretty upset about this and I would really appreciate a prayer for him...his name is Jimmy.
