If he would eat it, yes. But he won't eat more than a teaspoon of it at most. And that's when you've mixed it with baby food.

Good luck trying to get him to eat. I know my brother's cat was put on a diet of cream when she was about 17 years old to keep her "fattened" up. If you like, I can ask to see if they gave her anything else (which I don't think other than canned food) to keep the weight on. I hope he eats better soon.
