Could a DISigner or Mod answer a question for me please?

I totally understand that life gets in the way and we all get busy. I'm thinking that's the case for Evan (Ottorpop) right now.

On his thread there are several of us awaiting requests.

As for me, mine has only been sitting for a couple of weeks, it's for one page of his Passport, for two little girls. So basically I need to pages personalized.

I have sent the PM with pictures and personal information.

Now here's my question.

Is it against the rules to ask someone else to do this?

I certainly don't want to step on any toes, make anyone mad, or break rules. I've seen other passports but I just love this certain one.

That DISigner's stuff is super great and popular!YEAH Evan!!!

We do not personalize other DISigners work,unless they have given permission.
Yes it is against the rules.


If you are unable to wait then I would post to the DISigners thread thanking them for considering your request ,however telling them that you are in need of the request sooner than it can be done by them and therefor canceling your request,hope that makes sense.
Remember that all who do DISigns here are doing so free of charge.

I know that some have just asked why we don't post blanks and the answer to that is our stuff is then taken by "Ebay,Etsy and private bloggers and sold.
Someone yesterday posted a request for a DISigners stuff that used to be in her 4-shared account and now they can't find it--I am pretty sure I know who the former DISigner is and can only guess she moved the stuff because of people "pinning" and stealing her stuff.

So to answer your question,only you know if you can wait and if not start your own thread with a request,just remember to cancel your original request.

I have all of the other pages for the Passport printed off and we leave for our trip two weeks from yesterday.

I will cancel my request for Evan to do this, although I've had very good luck in the past with a request to be used in my classroom from this DISigner. So I know that he or she works hard and is probably very busy right now.
I realized that this can be time consuming and the DISigners do this from the kindness of their hearts.

It makes me more than a little angry that others are stealing their work and then turning around and selling it.

Since I have all of Otterpop's pages printed except for those needing to be personalized, is it against the rules for someone else to make those changes for me?
