Cotton Candy / Disneyland & DCA

Hi Everyone ... kind of random questions but I'm sure this is something that you can help me with.

1) Where can I buy cotton candy in Disneyland & DCA?

2) Are all the cotton candy about the same? Price? Flavour?

3) Any particular favourite spot of yours that you recommend to buy from?

They sell pre-packaged cotton candy in both DL and DCA. I've usually seen it sold from the snack carts around the park; often with the ice cream carts (not usually the popcorn stands). On my last trip (late April), I saw the regular flavor, plus the pineapple flavor (yellow/white colored cotton candy). I think it was about $4.75 at that time.

There is also a cotton candy non-alcoholic drink at the Cove Bar. It's very sweet...

When they first brought out the pineapple flavor a month or two ago they were only selling it in DCA. We went into Disneyland looking for it and they sent us over to DCA. It was delicious. I'm not sure if they have it in Disneyland yet, maybe someone on here has got it from there..

What about DCL? Do they have the good cotton candy in the bags? We are not fans of the kind that comes in the plastic cartons.

MamaBear have you seen the cotton candy lemonade drink? In my over planning I was looking at blogs and they had pictures that looked amazing of this drink at The Cove with a puff of cotton candy on the straw. My kids went crazy over the picture. Does anyone know if you can get it anywhere else?

Sorry ... no info on this. The light up kind was something I saw online in a blog or article. Sorry ... not much help. I can only suggest you google light up cotton candy+Disneyland and see what comes up. Good luck!

The cotton candy lemonade is exclusive to Cove Bar. It's non alcoholic. It's pretty much there so the kids have something to order when Mom and Dad want to tip back a few.

I'm a 30 year old "adult" and I love cotton candy (no shame). I'm kind of excited to try the unique flavors next month. I usually get some at WDW toward the end of a trip to have for the drive home. For this DL trip we will be going on a cruise after... wonder if I can smuggle some onboard.

The cotton candy in the parks are already made and in plastic bags. If you want freshly made cotton candy, there's a stand in downtown disney where they make it.

I've only seen it in the prepackaged plastic tubs at DL/DCA,. I have seen the Marge Sinpson plastic bags of it at USH though. Can't remember about DCL if they had it or not. Only remember bags of popcorn at the theater but maybe CC too?

Unfortunately unless something has changed in the past week, Dole Whip cotton candy wasn't available anymore when we were there at the end of July . Apparently, it is a seasonal flavor.

we just got back yesterday and I thought I should make this note ... the carts that sell cotton candy don't start selling until 11 am.
We were looking for some earlier than that and couldn't find any, but after the ice cream/cotton candy carts opened at 11, we saw them all over.

Very close to the parks. It's one of the first stands you'll pass on your way out of the parks.
