We used to live in Millis, Mass. and there was a Cott soda factory there. In fact my dad worked for them for a few years.
I was just wondering if anybody else remembers Cott? I've added a picture to help jog the memory.

They actually made quite a few different flavors.

I do!

Especially the Cott Gingerale, Creme Soda (yum!) and Cherry pop!

I think you can still find Cott soda -- but you have to really search for it.

I remember the Cott factory over in Millis on 109, I'm originally from Franklin.

Yup, I do. Their ginger ale was really good.

We had it here on Long Island also. I aslo remember a Soda advertised with a fairy like woman reaching into the water. What was that Soda Called.

The last time I was up there (about 5 years ago) I think it was a clothing outlet store.
I used to live in the Stoney Brook apts. right across the street from Cott (long before they had any of the shopping center stores, and it was just a big old field where the stores are now). I also use to live in a house right near Cott (it is now Paul's Flower shop).
I lived in Franklin as well for a couple of years with my step dad, on Daniels St.

I love that part of the country.

Another Massachusetts gal here...I recall Cott Orange and Grape...somewhere in downtown Webster I believe you can still see a faded Cott ad on one of the brick buildings! :goodvibes It's Cott to be good!

My parents' friend used to work for Cott Soda, so we'd get all the Cream Soda and Orange soda that we could drink. Mmmmm, cream soda....when you can find it, it just doesn't taste the same anymore. Cott had the BEST!

It appears they're still in business....

Cott Corporation Company Profile

Cott has sugar water in store for its customers. The company is a leading producer of store-brand soft drinks in Canada, the UK, and the US. In addition to soda, Cott makes and distributes bottled water, juices, iced teas, and sports drinks. It produces private-label brands for retailers, including Sainsbury Classic for UK grocer J Sainsbury, Sam's American Choice (US) and Great Value (Canada) for Wal-Mart, and Safeway Select for Safeway. Wal-Mart accounts for 40% of Cott's sales. Cott is the fourth largest soft drinks maker in the world, after Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Cadbury Schweppes.

Here's a link for further information about the company...if you really want to know.....it's a little interesting, I guess.

We also had Cott in nrth Jersey.

Anybody remember Seilheimer's?

I can't remember Cott. The bitter lemon doesn't sound so hot though.

DH used to speak about Double Cola. Anyone remember that one?

DH said he went to help his friend when he was growing up. There was a still sealed bottle of Double Cola with a rusted bottle cap in the garage. DH opened it and drank it. Now if DH does something wrong he'll blame it on drinking that rusty Double Cola back in the early 70s.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.....My grandparents always had a fridge in their basement full of Cott gingerale and cream soda. It was the best cream soda ever.
Why do all good things disappear off the market? Hmm.

We used to get Cott soda here in SW Pennsylvania. My Dad loved the cream soda. My favorite was the 4% grapefruit soda. I wish I could still buy some now, it made the best drinks.

I remember having Cott soda in the NY/NJ area. Another one I haven't heard of in a long time was Mission soda.

I hadn't thought of that in YEARS... but I do remember them.

They had the best cream soda and Ginger Ale! That Grapefruit soda sounds good. My favorite all time soda is Fresca, which is grapefruit. Alas, it's made with Nutrasweet, so I can't have it.

I remember their ads-"It's Cott to be Good"
