Cots in room question

The DVC resorts do not offer cots. Some members bring an Aero bed or similar item to accommodate this situation.

You might also consider one of the studios that officially sleep 5 - they have a pull down Murphy bed in addition to the queen and sleep sofa. Right now VGF & VWL have the Murphy beds. After the refurbs are finished at BCV & BWV, those resort studios will also have the Murphy bed. The refurbs are supposed to be completed by the end of 2015, but we have no specific dates yet.

Maybe you are asking about the larger villas? After rereading your post, I'm not sure your party can fit in a studio if you need 4 separate sleeping surfaces. You'd need a 2 bedroom for that. Highly doubt you could fit 2 aero beds in a studio anywhere.

Is it possible to have 6 in a one bedroom? I only ask this because as my DH was looking into Disney Conference they offered us ALL to stay in BWI room (they technically sleep 5) if we agreed that our 3 yo sleep in pack in play. I was surprised by this but it got me thinking, we'd fit quite comfortably in a one bed at Kidani or BLT because 3 year old would sleep in king with DH and I and our girls could have couch and sleeper chair.

Generally speaking, occupancy limits are five people plus one infant (under 3 years old). If the kid is 3, then, no, you can't all stay in a one bedroom.

We usually can fit a queen size air mattress in the 1 bedroom (Beach Club villa) when you do not open the sofa bed. This is how my 2 large boys (pictured here in my avi) deal with it by trading for the air mattress OR just the sofa. We sometimes do this in a studio (few days only) when needed.

A DVC one bedroom will sleep up to five persons plus one under the age of three. You have six, so you need a two bedroom villa. Some of the one bedroom villas only have beds for four.

Are you bringing your own camping cot or are you expecting to have one from the hotel?

DVC does not in general provide cots. They do allow you to provide your own bedding up to the number allowed in the room. For example you can have an aero bed.

We (in the past before my kids grew up into adults who want a real bed) used to bring full sized aero beds. The full size fits nicely for one person in many of the rooms. The queen size is a little big. Twin size is easier to manage for a smaller person.

I've never brought my own cot.
