costuming role?

Has anyone done this for dcp? Is it s competitive role to get?

I've read that it's one of the most competitive and always one of the last to be announced who got it.

Sorry this is a late reply- I don't know if you even need an answer anymore. I did the CP this past Spring with a role in costuming, I was also a theatre major. It is not a difficult role to get in, however it is more difficult to get entertainment costuming vs. operational costuming which you don't find out until you arrive. While it may not be as easy of a role to get as say housekeeping where they're constantly asking people to be, it is about the same as any other role.

Also, I applied first day applications opened and had my interview only a few weeks after that and got accepted into it the next week. It isn't one of the last to be announced it just depends on how everything goes like most other roles.

My daughter was in the CP about 4 years ago and did costuming. She worked the Jedi Training Academy and at Epic (Indian Jones Show). After her program was over, she continued to work seasonal for the next three years at the same locations and an occasional shift where she did something like delivering costumes to sets. She mainly did the two shows though. The seasonal requirements became hard to met after she moved back to Michigan. She made MANY life-long friends and is still considered family to them. She loved the work and loved her co-workers. It was hard work, not the best of pay, but very rewarding personally. To this day when we go down there, it is a must that she stops by both shows, esp Epic, and say hi to everyone. I think once you are part of Disney, you are always a part of Disney
