Costumes for MSSSHP??

This will be our second time at the party. I am looking to make or even better purchase neat costumes for my kids. Girl 7 and Boy 2 and was wondering if anyone had ideas? We will be there in Sept and last time we were there at that time is was hot and the kids were a pool of sweat in their pirate costumes. They both love to ride rides so I need something that would be easy for them to get on and off rides as well. Right now I am going with Tink and Peter Pan but Hubby says his son does not need to wear tights! So - any cute ideas?? thanks!!!

How about dalmatians? Floppy ears attached to head bands, spotted t-shirts, white shorts with spots, collars and a tail.

Or the original Mickey mouse club? White shirts with your names on them, mouse ears, black pants for the guys, black skirts for the girls.

We are going in September too. This will be our first trip. My DD is going to be 6 and wants to be minnie mouse. DS is 2 and LOVES buzz lightyear so he'll prolly be buzz.

What about just doing like a cowboys and indians thing?

We went in September last year. I made my 4 year old son a Hercules costume. It was easy and he didn't have to worry about the heat! Besides, we also ate at 1900 Park Fare that day and he got a lot of attention from the step-sisters! In fact, he wants me to make him another one for this year.
