I was there last Nov and even then it was very hot & humid. If possible, a very basic costume such as a decorated t-shirt (disney character, superhero, etc) will help with the temps and also make it easy to get on and off rides. Possibly check Walmart and PartyCity. Have a great party!
We got some great, lightweight pirate costumes at Party City for last year' MNSSHP. Even in the heat, we were pretty comfortable......we got a ton of compliments, too. We'll be wearing them again at two Disney parties this October.
I'm neither creative nor crafty (nor can I sew....not my talent ) so purchasing costumes was far better, for us, than trying to make them ourselves.
It was so warm, my maxi dress saved me. Also my hair was plastered up so it didn't move and it was off my face. Made it much better. Actual Halloween here, I would have froze my Tuckus off.
