Costumed characters at OI meetup?

Hi! I will be going to my first Orlando Informer meetup and I just wanted to know if the costumed characters come out during the event.

There may be some "rare" characters. For example when I was there in March they had Frankenstein and the Bride - the classic ones not the reimagined ones. I think I recall Woody woodpecker at a recent one.

I don't think any of the other typical characters are out - like Shrek, or Scooby and the gang etc...

Yep, I know in winter (at least the december ones) they'll have the grinch out and about. But I don't really remember seeing many others, if any.

I went to the February meet up and the only character I recall seeing was Spiderman over at Marvel Superhero Island.

If you're going to the November 15-16 Meetup, I think I saw in the FB group that the Grinch will not be out at that one. But will likely be out during the others.

Not surprising. I believe holidays at universal officially start Nov 22

We've seen Santa Shrek the last couple of years, at the big tree. The weekend before Thanksgiving.

1 year in June, we saw Glitter Troll (not sure what their official name is).

other than that, we never see any but, we are not looking so, maybe more are out and we didn't come across them.
