I am really trying to figure out what I am going to dress up as.. my little girl wants to be Snow White or any princess...

I wanted to be Minnie Mouse but by the time I buy the costume.. thats 100.00

What is everyone else going to do???

Try eBay for older model Minnie dresses. You might get a deal with one that includes all the accessories!

I am thinking about just letting my daughter dress up and me not...what is everyone else doing?

I'm wondering how many adults dress up for it. I don't wanna feel odd being one out of a bunch that doesn't dress up if we take our dd there.

We are going the week of Sept 5th but we are moving to Florida so I'm thinking of taking her for Halloween.

There are plenty of adults that dress up for the HP - I think I'll stick w/ a halloween shirt.....

For those dressing up keep 1 thing in mind...it is HOT and HUMID! I recommend a light weight costume, in fact I'm trying to talk my DS into being a soccer player (shorts and light weight shirt) or even a Surfer. I know he would rather be Darth Vader or Yoda but I said "NO" to anything heavy or requiring a mask.

Last yr he wore a less expensive batman costume from Wal-Mart - it worked out perfectly and he didn't get over-heated and over-cranky due to the heat.

Have fun, we'll be at the 1st MNSSHP and I can't wait!!!!

I also was thinking about the heat for my son(4), he wants to be Pongo and thats fine for Michigan where it can be 40 degrees on Halloween, but he'd roast if we get a warm evening. If my wife goes as Cruella(sp) I'll go as Jasper.

We're going as dalmatians one night (my dd7 is a dalmatian nut) -- I'm painting spots on white shorts/shirts. 2nd night we're doing a Hawaiian theme dh and I will have on hawaiian shirts and dd5 and dd7 will wear hula outfiits over bathing suits. Definetly go with something cool -- we went oct 31st last year and it was very humid.
