Costume experts - what do you think?

We are going on 9/30.

DS (4) will be Darth Vadar. I will be Princess Leia.

We have a stormtrooper mask for DH. Is it okay if he just wears a white t-shirt and black shorts? I don't want to spend $$$$$ for a few hour thing? What do you think?

I thought that I read on Baloo's MNSSHP thread that Mask's weren't allowed. If they are then you should be fine. If they're not then they may not let you use them when you get there and that would really mess up your costumes.

Yeah.. I dont think you are allowed to wear any masks due to visability concerns!!

But I wouldnt get a costume that will be hot. A t shirt and shorts would be best. We went to the 9/30 party a few years ago and it was HOT HOT HOT!!

This will be our 5th year attending MNSSHP. We have seen MANY people wearing masks. Not only wearing front face masks, but full head masks.

I don't know if somewhere or sometime they are told to take them off, but people do wear them.
