We will be arriving in Orlando for a conference on a Friday but not checking into Caribbean Beach until Sunday (the conference is clear across Orlando from Disney World, and the rate at the conference hotel is cheaper than Disney). We are planning to rent a car on Friday so my DH can visit the parks while I'm conferencing (we have APs), then return it to the airport Sunday.

I know we can't use ME to get from the airport to CBR because we won't be arriving that day (right?), so what's the cheapest way for two people to get from the airport to CBR? Taxi? Towncar? About how much should it cost? (Less than renting a car for an additional 6 days, I'm sure.)

We will take ME back to the airport when we leave.

I don't see why you couldn't use ME. You would just have to take your luggage with you.

If you are looking for other transportation-one way car service from MCO to WDW will be around $50.

You can use DME from MCO to CBR, just find a flight that arrives at MCO close the time you think you will need it and give that info the DME, you will then have a spot from MCO to CBR on the DME bus.. :)

I thought they confirmed with the airline that you were actually on the flight that you tell them?

Nope, they dont. If you are listed on a reservation for a WDW resort, you are allowed to use DME from MCO and back to MCO during your stay.

Everybody's right. Each Guest named on the room reservation is entitled to one Magical Express ride from MCO on or after the day their reservation starts and one ride back to MCO on or before the day the reservation ends. Period.

I have spoken, and it is so. And CleveRocks will back us all up when he has a chance to read this thread ;)
