Hello, how much were kids night out and fairy godmothers? I am still concerned about leaving her alone with one other person, i'm a little more comfortable with the resorts play places for sitting just because she wouldnt be alone with someone. Any down sides to the resort sitting areas? Thanks, I am so looking forward to my night out with my husband for some disney magic! Yatchsman steak house here we come!

Hi, try this link:

http://allearsnet.com/pl/childfaq.htm

The downsides to the on-site child care places is that they are only open from about 4-midnight, and the kids must be over 4 and potty trained.

Other than that, they're great. Our kids (now 17 and 15) still have fond memories of the Sandcastle Club! We would use it one night of our trip so the two of us could have an adult dinner!

Hi!

We used Kids Night Out and were verrrry happy. It cost over $100 when you included a tip and the transportation fee ($7). It was a minimum four hours, and we were ready to head back by the time four hours had rolled by.

We had a sweet (but stern) little old lady. She brought along books, crafts and toys... and asked if the kids could lay in bed and listen to the Disney Channel bedtime stories.

The kids were happy and so were we.

Fairy Godmothers is great. I believe its 16.00 per hour. They are very reputable and we have used them on numerous occasions. Have a great evening out. :flower:

We used Kids Nite Out too. Miss Nancy was great, the kids loved her (and her suitcase full of toys). Our DS was 2 and in diapers, so the in house playrooms were out for us.

It was an expensive evening...$100 for 16.00/hr + tip, but it was our anniversary and worth it.

Next time, we'd probably use the Disney service that is offered in the hotel, but mainly because there would be so much for the kids to do. Not because of anything Kids Nite Out did wrong.

This is from a previous post I've made. I'm just cutting and pasting. The information comes from the UG.

Kid's Nite Out, 407-827-5444, kidsniteout.com, male or female sitters, min. 4 hours, 1 child $14, 2 children $16, 3 children, $19, 4 children $21, transportation fee $8 starting after 9 pm +$2, payment by cc, gratuity in cash, must cancel prior to 24 hours. They are a Kinder-care company

All about kids, 407-812-9300, all-about-kids.com, male and female sitters, 4 hour min, 1 child $11, 2 children $12, 3 children $13, 4 children $14, transportation fee $8 starting after 9 pm +$2, credit card needed for reservation, must cancel prior to 3 hours

Fairy Godmothers, (407) 969-9847 and toll free 877-611-4314, mothers & grandmothers, 4 hour min, 1 child $12, 2 children $12, 3 children $12, 4 children $14, transportation fee $12 staring after 10 pm +$2, cash or travelers check for payment, gratuity in cash, must cancel prior to 3 hours

Sitters from all 3 are 18+, insured, bonded, & trained in CPR. Some sitters have advanced medical/first-aid training and/or education credentials. All sitters are screened, reference-checked & policed checked. Many sitters arrive loaded with reading books, coloring books, & games. Additionally, each offers bilingual sitters.

This is actually a question that has been coming up quite a bit, so if you do a search you'll find a few threads with reviews from people who have used them.
