Costco Vacation Question! HELP!!!!

I booked our disneyland vacation through costco a month ago. We are now inside the 30 days until we leave. I know that we are supposed to pay the balance of our trip at 30 days. Do they automatically charge the card I used to pay the deposit or do I need to call them? I haven't heard from anyone so I am assuming they automatically charge me but if I need to do something (liek call myself) I want to know!

Also, when do we get our vacation package in the mail? How close to our departure? Thanks guys!

I believe you have to call and authorize the payment. I would call before you forfeit some $$$

Yep, you need to call... hopefully it is not too late! You are supposed to call by the 30 day mark... then when you are paid in full, they will send you your package, which you have to be home to sign for when it arrives... good luck!

We booked with AAA (they also use WDTC just like Costco) and I had to call to make my payment -- no one called me and they didn't just charge it to the card. I would call right away. I think I got our package around the 3 week mark (21 days).

You can call to make your payment or you can make a payment from their website. The link to the website is:

Click on "existing reservations" and login to make a payment.

I hope you aren't too late!! Not to sound harsh, but they don't remind you - it's something that you have to keep up with on your own. I made mine a few days before that 30 day date. It is most definitely NOT an auto charge. You have to authorize it.

I tried to pay it online through Costco, but there were website problems, and I had to call to make the payment. Since you are late, I would call and not bother with the website.

After it's paid, you get the package about 3 weeks in advance via UPS. You must sign for the package.

Thank you guys! I called today and paid off the balance. I am 28 days until departure so I am past the deadline! I didn't realize I had to call and when I hadn't heard anything from them I decided to doublecheck with you guys! Anyway, they didn't give me any problems with paying today. Yeah!

When we booked through Costco it was a nightmare! I made all my payments online & the website kept telling me there were problems & to try again later. Well, every time I tried it charged me even though I didn't know it was actually going through! They ended up charging me for 4 $200 down payments when I initially booked the trip because I kept trying over & over again. From now on, I know to just wait till the next day to see whether or not the payment went through. They give you a great deal, but beware!

Anyone have a problem with Disneyland Hotel not being able to confirm a reservation booked though Costco? Apparently they have different reservation numbers. I did confirm with Costco Travel, but how can I be sure Disneyland has a room reserved for me? Makes me a tad uneasy. 27 days and counting.

Costco (and AAA) books directly through Disney (the website actually redirects you to Disney Travel but with the Costco perks). You will receive your package info from Disney at 21 days before your trip.
