Costco Travel - Transportation Add On

For the Costco travel package you can add on shuttle transportation. Anyone happen to know what company the shuttle is booked with?

There are no details while shopping. Thsy might show up after everything is booked but I’m not ready to book yet and I’d certainly like to know ahead of time what I’d be paying for.

Costco doesn't use any one specific vendor. I would just call them and ask, they have travel agents that can help you book.

Going through Costco is just connecting you to Walt Disney Travel Company, with Costco pricing. DL lists Karmel Shuttle under their airport transportation page, so it's possible they have a partnership with them. But yeah I would be wary about adding on without specific details & assurances. You could end up in a mixed shuttle making multiple hotel stops, depending on your party size.

I'm assuming you are flying into LAX? If so, compare the cost of the add-on to the many private services recommended here which you can book separate and know what you are getting. If flying into SNA or LGB, my vote is for a taxi flat rate. Taxi rates have come down some and with the Uber/Lyft shortage and frequent surge pricing as a result, the taxi is often an even or better-bet. And they are ready to go, no waiting.

Airport is unknown at this point. Our target is SNA but it will ultimately come down to price. I'm willing to pay a bit more for the convenience of SNA, but my early estimates have shown a significant savings by going into LAX. Also depends on flight times as we'd want to avoid LA traffic.
