Hi, we are looking to head down to Disneyland in June and my wife noticed Costco is going to sell a 3 day park hopper with lightning lane and $30 in park credit for $449 starting in May. We were planning do a 5 day park hopper but this seems like a good saving compared to a regular 3 day park hopper. Do you know if Disney allows you to upgrade a ticket like this from 3 to 5 days and if so how do they calculate the cost basis for the upgrade? Thanks

In general, you will lose any savings when you upgrade as they apply the cost of what you paid to the current cost of the new pass.

I have my eye on these too! I am wondering if it is only for SoCal residents or not, so following!

I've upgraded tickets in the past, and they treated them as if I had paid full price for the ticket - so I was upgrading from a discounted 3-day that I bought at Undercover Tourist, and I only paid the difference as if I had purchased that ticket at full price. The wording on this gets weird, lol, so hopefully what I am saying makes sense!

I think it would be slightly cheaper to buy two sets of the Costco tickets (6 day) even if you only used 5 of the days, versus buying one Costco ticket and a two-day ticket with the same parameters (park hopper, LL).

Sounds like these are out today. Has anyone seen them at their Costco? Wondering if they are SoCal Costco only or NorCal as well? Thanks

I thought I heard that they were supposed to be available in the PNW as well.

My wife said some friends saw them as Costco. We are looking to go five days and I just talked to customer service and they said there is not cost savings to do that as they take what you paid to Costco and you pay the difference so I sounds like I am just buying five day tickets

Just got these today! We had a friend get them for us from San Diego. Already linked in the app and ready to go. I was very happy to see that they are good through December 19, 2025 because the initial postings on Instagram said they would only be good through August. So happy to have saved on tickets and the gift cards are a nice bonus too.

Already have our four day tickets for our June trip but I do need a two day ticket for our runDisney event in September. We usually get park hoppers with LL, so these are cheaper, even before the dining credit. Very tempting. May need to hit a Costco on our June trip unless these show up in AZ.

Do these have any residency restrictions (like CA residents only)?

Nope, no residency restrictions. You just have to be able to get the tickets. They are being sold in Costcos in California, Washington, Oregon and possibly Idaho (I saw one post of someone in Idaho saying they saw the tickets, but multiple confirmations of the other states).

Perfect, I’m in Washington. Thanks!!

I got one yesterday at a Costco in Sacramento. I was able to load it into the app and make reservations. It loads as a regular 3-day hopper (e.g., it's not pulling from a special reservation bucket like the anniversary tickets). The dining card is definitely a special form of gift card -- I was able to add it to Disneygiftcard.com but it doesn't have the option to add or transfer funds to/from the card, presumably because it can only be used for food/drinks.

Is this Saturday, May 24th available w/DLP as starting park with the special Costco ticket?
I have one day tier 6 tickets already reserved for May 24, but I'm thinking of rescheduling later and eventually use in 2026.

It's just a standard park hopper and it looks like that day is available for the regular park hopper tickets (but you would have to use the other two days within 13 days of May 24):

I went to Costco today and took a pic of this offer for anyone who is interested.
Were these with other gift cards or did they have a display elsewhere? I looked at my local store in NorCal and didn’t see them.
