Last year we booked AAA this year Costco seems better. Any input on booking through Costco? I did a search and read previous posts but thought I'd ask again for more recent experience.

I'd like to know how the character meal perks work with Costco too.

Thanks
Diana

I'd like to know too! THANKS!

I did a price quote from the regular DL page and the Costco page and it was the same - but through Costco you get a character breakfast, $20 giftcard and lanyard and pin.

We just booked Costcos for next weekend. I liked getting the free character breakfast!

The only fault i see in Costco Package is that the tickets arent park hoppers tickets... which means you can only go into Disneyland OR Disney's California Adventure.

Though im not sure im talking about the same thing, just make sure the tickets say Park Hopper... if you want to do both parks... Other than that, its a really really good deal...

We booked Costco for the first time (as opposed to straight on the disney site) for our October trip. We got everything we would normally get from booking through disney.com - Toon Town tickets, preferred seating to a handful of shows, lanyard and pin and a coupon book. All of these perks were IDENTICAL - (with a different company lanyard vs. WDTravel). Our 5 day tickets were parkhoppers. The breakfast tickets were just tickets that we presented with NO issue at the Lilo and Stitch breakfast - these are 100% comps too by the way - tax, gratuity everything included. We also received a $20 gift card good at any place in Disney that can swipe a credit card.

Everything was identical to WDtravel - $200 deposit, payment in full about a month in advance, and then a package sent via Fed Ex that contains absolutely everything that you need in a holder.

The only problems I know of are: you can only book a limited number of days on line with Costco. They are working on fixing it. And the hotel choices are limited They dont offer the candy cane and a couple othe popular properties.

They absolutely are Park Hoppers. We were just there and hopped and hopped with the Costco package. I think maybe you are thinking of when you buy tickets (separate from a package) to Disneyland through Costco.

We were very happy with the Costco package. We got everything we would have gotten by buying through Disneyland directly (except for VMK codes) so we got the $150 deal (we stayed at GCH). Plus, we got the character breakfast - worth nearly $100 for our family and the extra $20 gift card. It was great.

What's the $150 deal?

We tried Costco but they could not accomadate the 6 of us. Deal looked good for smaller families.

The $150 deal is if you book by the end of January and stay 4 nights or more at any of the 3 onsite hotels by the end of April (not exactly sure on the dates and I know some dates may be blacked out). We used Costco for our December trip and it worked out great. The tickets are park hoppers and everything you get with booking with Disney directly you get with them, except the vmk codes.

Hope that helps!

yeah Albort I think you are talking about when you purchase the tickets at a Costco...the package has PH tickets....I purchased Costco package this past Nov when I went and I loved it...I got my room, parkhopper tickets, a free character breakfast which you can use at any of the disney hotel properties or at PI in the park (which is what I used it for), $20 gift card, pin and lanyard, and the little book that everybody gives you lol...It was cheaper than doing it through AAA too...I highly recommend using them...:)

We always book through Costco! I priced everything out this trip in March individually, through AAA, getawaytoday and Costco. Costco was the best package deal. You get the free character b-fast and $20 gift card. I really like using Costco...just wish I could get my 2% back at then end of the year with my Executive card!! :lmao:

We just booked through Costco... We have 7 people in our party.. They booked us at the BWRaffles... Family Suite... We got all the perks. I thought it was a great deal... (or is it?) Inlcuding airfair we are at $3800. WE are planning on going March 22 - 26. Is this a good price??

It is not a hotel that I would consider walking distance. That right there is a deal breaker for us.
