Last time we shopped at walmart but this year we have costco membership and just wondered what people thought...ta A

We're Costco members and always seek out a Costco when we're in the US. The Orlando one is pretty good, and fairly easy to get to.

Ooh! I've been wanting to try the Orlando Costco for ages! :goodvibesIs it like the ones over here? Is it easy enough to get in with your card?
Thanks!

Yes just like going to one here! Don't forget that they don't accept credit cards though only debit or cash.

We always try and fill up the car with "gas" when we are at Costco too as it's always a bit cheaper than a normal petrol station.

Last year when we visited they were selling Universal Studios tickets pretty cheap but I can't remember how much.

I have a Costco card but not sure i'd want to shop somewhere on holiday that I could easily over here. We usually find ourselves stopping at Walmart at least once, though I prefer Target :)

Not true; Costco accepts American Express cards.

Ok I will re word, Costco do not accept the most widely used credit cards called Visa and Mastercard, they do however accept Amex, which I don't think that many Brits use. We only accept in in our store because we have many US Expats in the village and want to accomodate them, it's very rare that we get a Brit who wants to use amex. :thumbsup2

We were there last week and they were selling 3month/2park Universal/IOA passes for $89.99 including taxes - not bad. :goodvibes

Home today and I'm cold and it's raining hard in Glasgow. :sad2:

Never mind 2 less than 2 months now til we go back! :yay:

Mrs TT  :cheer2:

PS Anyone in Orlando just now say "hi" to Cairistiona from Glasgow who's 'earning her ears at' the moment in the Rose and Crown at Epcot - she'll kill me for posting that!

I have had difficulty getting my debit cards to work in Costco, but what they do offer is a Costco Cash card, which I use. The main use for me is for the gas station which only accepts cards, so I get a Costco Cash card instore and load it up, then use that at the gas station.
Generally Costco gas stations are the cheapest around, so if you're going to Costco it's worth filling up at the same time.
