COSTCO near parks

Can anyone tell me if the Costco in South Orlando (off of Orange Blossom Trail, I think?) is the closest/easiest to get to in relation to WDW? I did a Costco search and it seems like it is the closest one not counting ones near the turnpike on the drive down.

Has anyone been there? Is it nice?

This location can be accessed from either the north or the south depending on what other stops you need to make. It is south of Sand Lake Rd (and the Florida Mall) and north of 417 (exit 11).

This is a membership club. You must already be a member or purchase a membership for around $50.

Costco does special order cakes. Call at least 24 hours prior to pickup time.

I would think they would list the closest one.

Yes, it's the closest one, and yes, it's very nice - as Costco's go! Warehouses certainly don't hold much charm.

It is on Orange Blossom Trail (OBT if you want to sound like a local), and the easiest way is to probably take the Beachline (Rt. 528) to OBT and head south, or take the Greeneway (Rt. 417 - toll) to OBT and head north. The Costco is on OBT in between those two major highways.

we were going to rely on publix as we normally do, but we've got a group of 15 that are staying at Saratoga Springs and I don't think I can justify NOT making the trip!

Hey, my husband built that CostCo!!! He was an iron worker and he actually connected all the steel on that building. When they cleared the land for the store, they left one big tree because there was a hawk's nest in it...of course it got struck by lightening during one of those 4:00 storms that come through everyday.
