Costco Deluxe AP: Can I upgrade to Premium?

Anyone know if you can upgrade a Costco AP to a premium? Before I go in the park, since the first day we want to use it is a black out day? I want to buy at Costco and get the $50 gift card, but most of the visits we want to make include a black out day. =(

Yes!!! You can also apply the $50 GC to the upgrade, and if you pay to park that day, you can also apply that $12, since you will get free parking with premium. You also get better discounts so it is very worth the upgrade!!!

You can actually upgrade it when you turn in the Costco pass, so no worries about blackout days.

YES!! We did and we used our $50 gift cards towards our upgrades!! After we used all our gift cards (we had some other ones given as gifts as well) we only paid $100 for all 4 of our Premium APs!

If I decide not to upgrade the deluxe to Premium can you still get the $20 DVC discount?

They won't give you a refund on the AP voucher. So if you want the discount on the DLR AP, just buy it directly. Ultimately of course the normal price AP with a $50 GC to use on other things will be cheaper.
