Can these be loaded on to the app to mobile order?
Yep! Unfortunately they can’t be saved to the app so you have to re-enter it every time. If you are on iPhone, I created a Shortcut that reads the number from a Note, copies it to the clipboard and then launches the Disneyland app all in one shot. I posted a link to it a while back. If you want it, let me know and I could probably find it.
 
For those who took advantage of this deal, how long did it take before you received your code? I bought one a couple of weeks ago, and it came within an hour or so. I bought another yesterday, and it still hasn't come. I'm sure Christmas volume is a factor, but I'm curious to hear other's experiences.

Check your spam folder. I've always gotten mine within a half hour. From the orders that haven't been cancelled, that is.

Yeah, I checked there first, nothing. When I check the order on costco's website, it still says "in process" and when I try the digital portal, I get no result. You actually had orders canceled?

I should've clarified. I'd already ordered (successfully) twice before I got a subsequent order cancelled.
 
I bought one this last Thursday evening (the 21st). Looking at the emails the code was sent only about 10 minutes after the order confirmation email.
 
I contacted Costco customer service through chat. They said it could take 2 - 24 hrs to deliver. I pointed out that it had been almost 24 hrs. She said she would pass along my order information to the shipping dept., and they would contact me within 48 business hours. (The shipping dept for a digital order?? Dumb) I'll probably just cancel, I expected better from Costco.
 
So the physical card is safer to hold the funds? And does it need to be a new physical card or if we've got an old zero balance one can you load that up? Just checked and I've got the correct balance on my two e-cards thankfully!

Sounds like lots of folks are getting their codes stolen, perhaps because of some bad actor at the vendor. Thankfully, I had transferred my balance to a couple of physical cards pretty soon after purchase and redemption.
Oh my gosh! That's scary...luckily I redeemed mine right away (toward our package with Costco).

I read all the negative Costco reviews before I purchased my second card. The vast majority of people who ran into problems never had funds added to their cards, it wasn’t that they were stolen.

As a precaution, I never leave cards in my account on disneygiftcard.com. I move digital cards to a physical card and then delete all the cards from my account.

I think the concern was that the digital card number was being stolen/leaked at Costco or their gift card vendor so if you managed to migrate funds to another card that you had, they wouldn’t be able to get it.

But that’s unconfirmed right now. There are some folks on Reddit saying they had their funds but they went back and checked the cards and now they have a zero balance. Sounds like Costco is making it right though for those folks.

Update: the code randomly showed up in my email today even though the order on Costco’s website says “cancellation pending.” I checked to make sure it was valid, moved the balance onto a physical card, then deleted everything from Disney gift card website 👍🏻.
