Costco AP Help Needed Please

We are hoping that we could find someone that would be willing to pick us up the AP that they are only selling at Southern Cailfornia Costco's that include the $50 gift cert.. If you would be willing to make a Buy it Now auction on Ebay for $50 over the cost for 3 AP (which would be $50 for you in your pocket for you time and willing to help us out) We have 100% good feedback on ebay and have a paypal account that we could send the money to you before picking them up so you are paying nothing out of pocket. If anyone is willing and able to do this for us in the next couple of days that would be PERFECT!!!!!

i don't know but ebay charges a fee for the winning bid. so, if the person who set up the auction has to pay ebay a fee for listing,right? if you pay that person 50 bucks for doing it that means they are going to take that charge from that 50 bucks... which means they don't make the 50 bucks.... http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html so, if your action is for 3 ap's that's like 857 ? bucks and what ever ebay charges you.... also are these going to be mailed out?

you are right... didnt think of it that way... but it looks like the fees of something like this would be $75 which is including fees and the extra money we would be paying someone for there time... So its not really that good of a route to go...

Innovative idea though Ruthie. To bad it doesn't look like it is going to work out. I've finally decided to stop on the way at one of the Costcos and get them. It sounds like there are tons still available so I am hoping they will still be there in a month.

i highly doubt it! they had tons, tons i tell you! whats the worst that can happen? you have to pay full price of 269. at the gate.... I wouldn't worry about it nobody was even looking at those tickets.....

My husband goes down next week and I was worried they'd be gone but honestly I doubt people are looking for them. I wouldn't have known had I not seen it on this board and also times are tough...people aren't willing to shell out 300 bucks for park passes right now. I wouldn't worry too much RuthieT, odds are probably in your favor

Since you were willing to pay some extra, which would take away from the gift certificates you would get, have you considered just ordering the discounted Deluxes? From here.

You'll have to crunch the numbers and figure out if the GCs are better for you vs a flat out $30 discount each!
