Costco AP activation deadline?

How soon after purchasing APs at costco do they have to be activated? My husband is going to SOCal on business in April and is looking to purchase our APs for our trip in June. Will this work?

The activation date on our So Cal Deluxe APs was 5-31.

If you are just buying the ones from costco, which DH and I did, I am not sure if there is a date or not as they are not the socal passes. Have DH go and look at the board and see what it says. If there is not date then that is fine. My DH bought 2 and activated his in nov and then we went and I activated mine in dec. GL

I just activated mine. They must be activated by 5/31.

We have ours upstairs in the drawer waiting to be activated. It is sooooo hard knowing I have AP's and not being able to use them until 5/24. We had a friend get them for us this last week, when he was at DLR with his family.

It does say right on the pass that they have to be activated by 5/31/09.

I suspected that the deadline would be 5/31. Thanks for all the info. We are going on June 6. I wish they would extend it too. Oh well, there is a small possibility that the family would accompany him on the trip. If so, I could talk him into us all activating them in person . We'll just have too see. This trip sure is starting to snowball!

How much are the AP's at Costco? Do you have to be a SoCal resident. DD and I are going at the end of the month and I'm checking around for the best deals. We're not sure if we're going to make it down to DLR again this year, however if we had AP's that would be a GREAT incentive

April - they are $269 at Costco in So. Cal. They are for anyone, not just So. Cal residents and you get a $50 Disney Gift Card - so they come out to be $219. They say right on the tickets that we have a $50 gift card (for each one) and when they have to be activated.

We called the Costco that was closest to our friend's sister and made sure they had some before he went and then he picked them up for us. I just googled Costco and got the phone number and checked.

I just bought all of ours today at our Costco. We are in the Fresno area (central california). Just in case anybody was looking for some.

I was thinking that the marketing with Costco was a smart move and wondering about the odd activation date of 5-31.

Could it be that they plan to offer them as of 6-1-09, but plan to build in a nominal price increase for the summer crowds?
