2 yrs ago, my friend and I bought 3-day Costco tickets that has a 2014 expiration date.

We are going back in Dec and would need to get my 5 yr old son a ticket. Are the Costco tickets still available?

We don't have a Costco nearby and I remember that the sales associates are clueless if you call.

Depends on the Costco..The one by me in PA and the 2 in NJ that I have family near do not have them right now.

I think the only Costco tickets available right now are the ones that expire the end of this year and are at a reduced price. They put out new ones when the buy 2 days get one day free deal came out through the Universal website.

I know I saw tickets in the s.c. costco a few weeks ago. Hope they still have them , we are counting on it. I would call and try to sweet talk a manager for information. what do you have to lose? all they can say is no....

ok, checked all costco's in s.c. today. All gone :( they have been deleted from system. Dont imagine any costcos will have them for awhile. Did get tix at aaa today for only a little more money. 3 day adult park hopper was like 161.00. also, get discounts all over universal with your aaa card!

Do the AAA ones have later expiration like the Costco ones?

We bought our universal tickets at Costco last summer and I just looked at an old email that I sent to a friend - the item code for the tickets that I bought (which expire at the end of 2015) was "671130". You can call Costco and ask the person who answers the phone if they can look up an item number for you to see if they have it in stock and give them that number.

If that item number is retired/invalid, then at least maybe they can look up the name that they have the item under and search for the new item number(if one exists). I had no luck when I called asking about "Universal tickets" (they had no idea what I was talking about) but had much more luck finding a Costco that had my tickets when I had an actual item number to reference.

The code is a year old at this point but maybe it will help . ..

Thank you!

Our Costco still has them too but they expire at the end of this year. I wish it was 2014 or 2015 and I'd buy a few :)

Which one? Weird that it has 2013 expiration date though since the one we bought and used for 1 day in 2011 has 2014 expiration date. My son was 2 then and will be 5 this trip which is why I'm looking for this ticket now.

It is a different ticket. This 2013 expiration date tickets came out when the buy two get one day free ticket came out through the Universal website. Since that ticket was cheaper than the ticket that they had been offering at Costco, they pulled the Costco ticket and replaced it with a cheaper once that expires the end of this year. Hopefully, after those are gone, they'll come back with a new ticket at Costco with a longer expiration.

Has anyone heard any rumblings about any special cross-Potter (heh heh) ticketing once Diagon Alley opens? Will the train actually run between the two? Just wondering if I should buy Costco 2-park tix ahead of time or hold off in case they implement something new. Planning on Thanksgiving 2014!!

If you can still find the 2-park 3-day tickets that expire 12/31/14 or later, I suggest you buy them. The Hogwarts Express connecting the 2 parks will only (based on all the rumors I have heard) be for people who have a 2-park ticket or who upgrade the 1-park ticket at the Hogwarts Ticket Booth. The Costco ticket most assuredly will be cheaper, maybe by 50% or more, per day than an upgraded 1-park ticket.

When will this train be available?
