Costco 3 day ticket upgrade to APs?

I bought the tix last year and used 1 day each. DS loved universal and I would like to take advantage of AP rates and FOTL for staying at Universal hotel.

Can used Costco ticket (2 days left) upgrade to APs?

Yes you can but remember that the ap will be valid from the first day you used the ticket, not from when you upgrade to the ap. That means that your ap may have already expired, lol, depending on when you first used the ticket last year. To do this properly, you would really want to upgrade when you use the ticket for the first time.

I used it at the end of Aug last year but I really need the AP for Nov this year. Maybe I'll just get AP (to get AP rate on hotels and free parking) and DS use up his Costco tix

Remember, FOTL access is totally and solely a benefit of staying at an on-site resort. It does not matter what kind of ticket or pass you use to get into the parks. This way, your family members can mix APs with Costco tickets as is best for your situation.
