Costa Rica?

I have a small but sort of large project due for Spanish next week.

We either got assigned a country, famous person, or celebration in a Spanish speaking country.

The teacher assigned me Costa Rica.

She only told us one website to use and I can't seem to find some more good sites.

The one we use all the time for school is www.culturegrams.com because our school has an account that we had to pay $200 for.

Basically we have to use 6-8 medium index cards and write on both sides (just notes) or 6-8 of the HUMONGO ones just on the front.

I got the medium ones and I'm running out of info!

Currency
Geography
Type of Government
Climate
A drawing of the flag
Common Food and Drink
Popular sports/pasttimes

Thanks! So far I've got population, language, religion, diet, family, housing, dating/marriage. The site I normally use has a lot of different topics but only about a paragraph about each one. Which does give variety...but not so much information! I'm thinking about doing a card or two front and back about their history...

We have to share them in class and they just have to be notes...

uhm..what are some cool places to visit and interesting facts??

the sites im finding are just giving normal facts..not that interesting

lets see they have volcanoes that you can visit. the two i know of are arenal and poas, i think there is one more. lots of surfers like to go there because the beaches are beautiful and the weather is pretty nice. they are all about recycling and have some cool banana and coffee paper. ( you can see it on ecopapers.com ) they are also really famous for there coffee one of the top costa rican coffee brands is Britt and is even a tour you can take to see how they gather the coffee beans and all of that...and hmm adventures by disney visits so i guess thats another cool thing..lol..

thanks so much! i have 4 whole pages typed using font size 12. but ive double spaced between notes im just going to print it out and then copy it to my note cards. im hoping thats enough info..

what i dont get though is that its got to be 6-8 notecards front and back, but we only have 3 minutes to go over all of it??

yeah that seems like enough info. and about the time, a lot of times it seems like three minutes can take forever so i think you can get through it if you just dont pause. but yeah i can see as how you would need more time

yah. especially since that is the minimum. 5 is the maximum and if you go over,she docks off of your grade! eek!
