cost, points at HHI??

I thought I had recently seen a post about a discount currently for points
purchased for the HHI location. Did anyone else see this, or is my imagination?
I have a family member interested in owning, but wants that location.

I believe direct thru Disney is currently at $80/point, and they are including 2009 points.

HHI is 80/PP from Disney now.

But, I just paid $53.00 per point for a HHI contract with some 08 points, all 09s banked and so on.....Resale is still the way to go.

Annual dues at HHI are $5.56 per point.

And it passed Disney'd ROFR? I hope so, because as of this morning we bought a contract like that for $56.50/point. Now we're going to have to hope it passes ROFR. If it does, I agree-such a better by than going thru Disney.

Yep it passed, AND I split closing costs. ( The seller actually agreed to pay all closing, but I changed my offer after a few days thinking I was being too cheap and I would lose it )

I mailed my check today and I'm scheduled to close on Wednesday!

DVC by Resale had the one we were looking for. Although we haven't returned the contract yet, or mailed the deposit (just finalized the offer this morning), it's already listed as "Sale Pending". Yay-can't wait!

I would think you could get HHI for well under $50 a point. You might talk to some of the companies that specialize in selling DVC and get their input.

I've been shopping for a HHI add on for about a year. My $53 dollar a point contract was the cheapest I'd seen for my contract size ( 150 points ) with banked points.

I've seen a couple large (300 ish ) point contracts with all '10s coming for $50 a point. But if you check the big companies - and I shopped TTS, Shontell, Jaki and **** and Fidelity- you'll see that there hasn't been a contract yet in the $40s and most are listed in the $60s.

I know there were a couple that were in the high 40's recently but am not acquainted with the points accounting. I see there is one listed at exactly $50 a point on TSS listing above under contract for 170 points. I am comfortable that one can find a contract under $50 a point actual sales price if one tries.
