cost per point

Just wondering if I read one of the posts correctly. We just bought BWV a couple of years ago and we had never looked at any of the other properties with purchasing in mind. Do the different resorts have different costs per point? I know they have different point values as far as staying there but I thought they were all the same price to purchase.

I used to think I knew all about DW (we've gone every year at least once and usually more since 1975.) Since
I've been reading these posts I realize I'm a real novice compared to most of you.

You will see different per point prices only on resales. OKW and BWV are sold out from Disney and are only available on the resale market. The price per point for these properties will vary according to the seller and the deal.

Any purchases from Disney will have the same per point price for VWL, VB or HH. That price has gone up over time and is currently $72 per point with a price increase coming up soon to $75 per point. That increase will affect all Disney contracts the same after that date.

Disney does have different deals at the different resorts as to buy back of first year points called Magical Beginnings. Also the per point maintenance costs differ from property to property.
