Does anyone think $90 pp is too much for a 50 pt. OKW resale? I'm new to all things DVC but I've noticed on the resale sites that most OKW contracts are between $73-$79 per point.
That depends a bit on how many points are banked or borrowed. If the contrct is pretty well tapped out, it would go for less than one that had current and banked points available. The resale company would be the best to advise about what is likely to pass ROFR.

As a rough ballpark, figure a price premium of $10/point for small contracts. Having full 2006 points puts it at the top end of your $73-79 scale. So maybe the market price is $89 and they threw in an extra $1/point to help ensure ROFR ($50 is a cheap price for ROFR insurance).
Considering that $90 is still below Disney's price of $92, it might not be a bargain, but it's not unreasonable.
I think the price you pay is based on what works for you financially. If all you can afford at this time is to buy 50 points then $90.00/point is not to much for you to pay.
I'd be willing to bet that a 50 point contract at OKW at $90 per point will still have buyers lined up. The small contracts have a huge premium and folks are willing to pay more to get in the door and not have a huge upfront commitment. I listed a 40 pt contract at OKW the other day with no current points but all '07 pts coming for $86 pp. I think it posted late in the day and the next morning I had a contract in my Inbox. The next day I was notified that the buyer decided to back out but another buyer had already made the same full-price offer. With that kind of demand, you can sorta see why the prices can go higher.
The low point contracts especially for new members will go for much higher price than higher point contracts. The lower point contracts for new members also need that higher price in order to get past ROFR. So if you do not currently own any DVC points and are trying to get into their system by purchasing a small contract, then I would say that $90 per point is not unreasonable.

No, I don't think it's too much. Based on the info in the ROFR thread, I'd expect a regular-sized contract to pass ROFR between 76-80, and one smaller than 100 points to pass at 85-90. I know there are some contracts listed for 73, but I doubt if those would pass.
However, a large reseller like TTS sees a lot more contracts than are reported on the ROFR thread, so I'd go by their advice.
I'd list my small OKW contract for $90+, like someone else said, it really doesn't matter when it is such a small amount anyhow. People want "IN" and are willing to pay. I paid a premium on my OKW when I bought a small contract.
