cost parking at port canaveral

Do any fo you good people outthere know the current cost of parking for cars at Port Canaveral whilst away on a cruise.
Is there a special area for Disney cruisers or is it a general parkign area for all the cruise companies departing from Port Canaveral

The Port Authority at Port Canaveral charges $10.00 per day for car parking.

Disney has its own lot.

Not sure if this has changed recently but we paid with a debit card/credit card for our parking during the May 1st cruise.

WOW!!! when did that change? The last time is was $7.00 per day!!!

It's been $10 per day since sometime last year (early summer I think.) Prior to that it was $7 per day.

They do charge in advance, and it may have changed to allow the credit/debit cards--in October they did not, but the cruise we just took May 15th we had a rental car and didn't park at the port so that could be a recent change.

We parked in May 2002 and paid by credit card...I did notice a sign there earlier this month when we cruised saying tey took credit cards also.

The latest DCL info brochure (what comes with your cruise docs) says that they accept cash, VISA, and Mastercard for parking. However, it also says it's $8 a day, and I know from parking there two weeks ago that it has gone up to $10.
