Cost overruns at Shanghei? - time to bring back E-Ride Nights

Unfortunately they wouldn't have the cast to run the rides. They've already cut all Overtime for cast and dropped most full timers down to 32hrs a week.

I think the OP's premise was to do that instead of EMH which is already staffed.

I could easily seem them doing away with EMH, replacing that perk with something else (like a 4th Fast Pass) and then offering special nights that the park is open late at a special guest.

Like a party, but cheaper (and less overhead since they won't need to do anything special).

I just wonder how many people would be interested in paying $X for going to the parks late at night. (especially when they've been offering it for free for so long).

I wouldn't pay the cost of staying onsite for 1 extra FP a day.

Disney could bring back the EMH like before the recent cuts by charging $10, with more than the extra hours' cost covered. If a guest's onsite
room was booked @ rack rate, the EMH benefit would be included in the park tickets for free. For a discounted onsite room, guests would pay $10 per day( like park hopper, but $10 per day with no discount for additional days). Most guests would be happy to pay the $10 per each day of their ticket, knowing they will have undiminished EMH to enjoy. Disney would then have no good reason to diminish EMH if they become profitable by adding the benefit to the tickets :)

And if I recall correctly, the last one was $12 + tax.

Yes,$12.00 for 10 and up and $10.00 for 3-9.

And they were a BLAST!!!!:)

I remember getting off of Space Mountain and going through the chicken exit back door to get into line to ride it again. Good times.

We were allowed to ride Splash Mountain 3 times in a row without getting off. We were offered to go a 4th, but declined. Good times!
