I am looking for advice on which type of tickets to get and how much they cost. We will be at DLP for 4 nights in July (Thursday through Sunday), and plan to go into Paris for one full day definitely, and perhaps one additional evening for dinner. 2 adults. We would need train tickets to/from DLP and Paris, and metro tickets to get around the city. Are there any discounts combination passes available or would we be better buying individual tickets, and how much do they cost?

You'd be best getting a 1 day Mobilis pass zones 1-5. This will give you unlimited travel for a day of your choice on all RER/Metro and buses. Atm they cost 15.20€ but will increase slightly before you come next July.

A single ticket from MLV to Paris is 7.20€ atm so 14.40€ return. For the extra 80 cts you are better getting a Mobilis even if you are just going into Paris for the evening as after your meal you could go and visit another area, walk by the Seine etc etc

A single one journey metro ticket in Paris - zones 1-2 costs 1.70€

hth :)

Thank you for the advice, the Mobilis was exactly what I was thinking from reading over the options in the PP's link, but I am glad to be reassurred from you that I had the right idea!
