Hello: Would someone tell me the cost of the highway tolls to get from Sanford Airport to WDW? Thanks

go west on 46, then west on I-4 ....

Anywhere from 0 to $12 depending on route and how you're going to pay for the tolls. The fastest route is $3.25 if you have a toll transponder and 6.80 if you don't. Plus whatever fees your rental car company is charging.

No need for tolls.. As shown in the map above by a pp, the most direct route is I-4 and it's toll free..

This is highly debatable, the most direct route is in fact I-4 and in most cases it's also the faster route.. 417 veers far east of Orlando before looping back towards WDW adding unnecessary miles/time to the trip, not to mention, an unnecessary toll expense..

in the past, most folks said avoid i-4

this was mostly due to problems around the MAJOR project to widen the road and add special lanes ..... (mostly north of the city to the Sanford exchange)

this project is (mostly) done ..... the big back-ups it created are gone .......

True. However if you are on that road during normal morning/evening rush hour you'll have some significant delays. Otherwise that's the route I'd take to avoid tolls.
