Cost of taxi ride from DT to GF?

Does anyone knows how much it will cost (plus tips) for a taxi ride form downtown disney to the Grand Floridian resort?

Where would the taxi stand be at downtown disney? We will finish the La Nouba show by 7.30pm hopefully and considering to catch a taxi to GF for dinner at 9.05pm.

Looking at the distance (almost 8 miles by road) it would run about $20. However, if you have over an hour (which you seem to do) it would be much easier to take a bus.

Thanks, the bus would be our first option. Just worried that if the show finishes late or if there's a long wait for the bus, we will then consider to take the taxi.

La Nouba won't finish late - the show is 90 minutes on the nose.

As far as a long wait for the bus goes, that's pretty likely. Even so, it shouldn't be so long that you'll be late for your ADR. I would head to the taxi stand if you aren't on a bus by 8:30.

There are several, and IIRC there's one right between Cirque and DisneyQuest. If you walk out the door and head for the parking lot, you should see taxis waiting. Ask a CM if it's not obvious.

I would cut it off a bit earlier, say 8:15, assuming you want to arrive at GF 15 minutes before your dinner time. The bus will stop at WL before GF.

There's also a taxi stand near the PI bus stop, in case you need to bail.
