Cost of taxi from POP to Universal?

DB and DS are going to IOA for a day on our next trip ... not sure whether to use town car service or taxi .. ?anyone know how much a taxi would cost?
I am thinking they would want to go to one of the Universal hotels to get a taxi back as they may not be available at the main drop off for USF/IOA ... ?any insight would be much appreciated as DS is only 14 and DB has not traveled much except with us and DH and self are staying at Disney for the day!

DD and GF are going to be at POP the week of the Jan 8 and taking one day to go to Universal/IOA.

We are debating transporation optoins. Taxi running about $40. each way.

Mears is about $l5. round trip each.

When I worked at Pop, I don't remember the taxi being that expensive. I think it might have been $26 each way... at the Luggage Assistance desk they have a listing of approximate prices. You can also call 407-422-2222 and ask them.

my neighbor took the lynx bus from dtd to universal this past month. the lynx bus fare was $1.25 one way. pp

they didn't want to wait for the bus after they left universal and so they took a cab. it cost them $29. for the four of them to get back to pop.
