Does anyone know the rough cost of a room in july for RPR? We have been quoted £65pp per night from the UK which seems very high to me, it would equate to around $580 per room per night.
Can you phone direct to the hotel? this is for next July

I would call Loews Hotel Reservations or use the www.loewshotels.com site

There are different rates that you can use: FAN, APH (annual passholders), AAA and you could call Loews and ask for the entertainment rate and then order a card from www.entertainment.com

I am from the UK as well and have booked the RPR for much cheaper rate by phoning direct. Are you sure that the rate of £65 is not just for the first two adults? Normally children are free. Virgin Holidays do the room cheaper and will book it direct for you with no flights etc. If you go through the universal site and check hotel prices etc put in APH for annual pass this seems to get the best rate. Try the other two mentioned above as well. You can get a 2 park AP power pass for $117 that will get you discount.

The first time we went to RPR we got an amazing rate of $159 for club level per night.

I went to universalorlando.com and they are taking ressies into July at a U.S. rate of 234/night. (Better than 580/night!) Maybe your rate includes extras??? Anyway, there are no discounts available yet, but there will be eventually. Just be patient!

Just an FYI, I've always gotten the best rates with the Entertainment card but they are only given over the phone. For some reasons they don't come out on the websites. But these usually come out in November for the following year. Good luck!:p

dont go through a TA to book your room and passes!!

1st go to https://tickets.universalstudios.com/USRG/us_store_secure2.jsp?merchant=UO and buy your prefered annual pass. while you are there be sure to buy the bonus passes for your family.

then go to http://www.loewsfirst.com and sign up for loews first. then go to the reservations page and enter the code APH ( annual pass holder ) for your dates. this code has been the best one that i have been able to find.

we are going in october and our rate was $237 a night for a king club level room. this is a $102 a night savings with the APH.

I don't know your exact dates. I used July 1-6 and there is an AAA rate of 210.60 available. Don't know if this helps...
