cost of renting a tux????

We are booked on the 7 day Eastern and I am considering a Tux for DH. How much is it to rent one????

Atleast that would be one less thing to pack and I would have to go out and buy him a black suit. He does not have one!


I figure he could wear it atleast 2 nights!

They are between $85.00 and $120.00 depending on what you order. I ordered one two years ago and was very pleased. They have you take a bunch of measurements and then it's delivered to your state room and you leave it there for pick up when you go home. Very convienent. There is a web site, I'm not sure of the address. It's something like cruiseformalwear.com. There are other threads that have this link for sure.

We just returned from the Jan 29 western and made these observations on how cruisers dress. For formal night there were very few tuxes at the early seating. We did see a few more during second seating. Some people dressed up very formal, but for the most part they just wore nice clothes. For semi formal night there were even fewer tuxes, maybe a handfull. Just some more info to help you make a decision. Have fun.

I figured that....

I may go to some re-sale shops and see if I can find him a nice black suit since he won't wear it very often.

We only plan on going to the formal night once...The other we may skip all together...
