Cost of parking/Best way to US/IOA from Clermont?

We're amping up for our first trip EVER to US/IOA! February 5-27

The plan is to be at US/IOA for the first week (6-12)..we're thinking of the RCI passes, and no, we're not park commandos We'll hit the parks in the early am, have lunch, then home..one or two days, we'll go in the afternoons, and stay through supper.

First of many, many questions, though

*Cost of parking at the garage?
*We're renting a house on the North end of the 27 (past the new WalMart)...what is going to be our best route to US/IOA? Straight shot down to the I4, then up? Which exit would we take? Is traffic through Champion's Gate going to be a nightmare?

Parking was $8 but it may have gone up, I have an annual pass so I don't pay. As far as the best way there, I-4 straight run. You can get off at either of the Universal exits (if you miss one, the next is just after but is a left exit). Can't help you on traffic at Champions Gate, never stayed there...sorry...

Yes, parking went up to $9. I'm glad MickeyFan helped you with driving directions as I can barely find my way around Orlando.

We cut through from I-4 to 27 through Champions Gate one night when the traffic was bad on I-4 (it was only bad that one time), and there was no traffic at all that way (middle of June).
