Hi. We always use Wegoshop to have items delivered to our room. This year our trip is shorter and we are on the dining plan. I am really interested in purchasing a case of water and a case of beer. I know the gift shop sells these items by the case but I have no clue of the cost. May still be worthwhile to use a delivery service.

Thanks for the help.:goodvibes

I remember asking last hear in a resort shop how much a case of water costs and was told $16. Which is less than $3 each but still really high. Don't know about beer. Sorry.

Correct I asked and a case of water at the poly was $16. I used staples to deliver water and it came to $6 a case.

I was shocked to find that the price of beer was something close to $6 per bottle -- because when I stayed at CBR, it was half that price.

As an admitted and unapologetic beer snob, I can't imagine even finding a drinkable beer being sold at one of the resort gift shops, much less being willing to buy it for an extremely inflated price.

Big River Grill & Brewing Works over at Disney's Boardwalk is one of the few places to get a drinkable beer in the World. I can't recall, but you might be able to do growler purchases from them. The beer at least would be better than what you'll get at a resort and probably more options.

So EPCOT doesn't "have drinkable beer?"

Wow.

Depending on if you want more than water and beer, we took a taxi over to the nearest Winn Dixie last year and got milk, beer, etc and it was reasonably priced. Not to say that it wasn't nice getting off Disney property for a while and paying regular prices for items (not marked up). We did have to get a Winn Dixie shopping card (seems like you need these whereever you go now.)

You can also take the bus over to the boardwalk and a 5 min walk away is a Hess gas station. They sell beer and water and so on. There is also a city bus that can take you to walmart (lynx).

Or you could pay Disney prices...after all $6 for a can of cheese wiz isn't really that bad...

We just got back! Here are a few items I bought:
15.00 6-pack Coors Light
2.50 Dasani bottled water
3.70 1.5 liter dasani water (to refill above bottle or other bottles from the park)
4.59 box of glazed donut holes
5.79 box of 12 donuts (plain, powdered, choc.)
2.99 bag of hostess mini donuts
2.39 bottle of chocolate milk (larger bottle- serves 2)

I used my annual pass discount and got 10% off the above prices too. It worked out cheaper than garden grocer for our shorter 5 day trip. Kids had breakfast everyday for a fraction of what the food court would have cost us.

We also brought the $15 6pack of beer to the pool. We put the beer in a Disney shopping bag and filled it with ice. Worked out nice (and cheaper than Muddy Rivers Bar).

I guess it depends on your definition of drinkable. I don't even consider Bud Light or Coors remotely drinkable.

Considering it is the "World Showcase" EPCOT's beer offerings are disappointing. Try even find an IPA on tap anywhere. Yeah you can get a Bass Ale/Guiness over at the Rose and Crown or a Dos Equis over in Mexico and a couple decent ones in Germany, but Moosehead, Lablatt, Bud, Sam Adams, Carlsberg, Tsing Tao just don't really cut it for me. Nothing I can't get here at my neighborhood liquor store.

Selections outside of EPCOT are even more pathetic. You might find an amber ale in a resort lounge somewhere, but not much else.

EPCOT's strengths are in its liquor and spirit offerings (especially tequila), hopefully and eventually its beer offerings will grow as well.
