How much should I expect to pay to print out a 12 x 12 digital layout?

Walmart has 11 x 14 or 12 x 18.
They quoted me $10.97 CAD for the 12 X 18. At that cost, I don't understand how digital scrapbooking is cheaper. I guess that would be if you just want to keep your LO's on a CD to share, right?

One more question about printing. Is a photo printer only for photos or can you actually use it with regular paper too?

Yes...you can use a "photo" printer for regular print jobs also...with regular paper. Just when you go to print a photo..you'll need to remember to change the print settings.

As for printing digital layouts...for a 12x12 album. I'd check out someplace like Costo...they have digital printing for a resonable price....8x12 for $1.50 or 11x14's & 12x18's for $2.99 ea. You could even check places like shutterfly and snapfish. (I know Snapfish had regular sized (4x6) prints for less then Costco...so their enlargments may be less also.

I just ordered 8x10s from Snapfish and they were $2.99. I don't know if they do 12x12.

Try York Photo. I've found that they have the cheapest pricing and very fast shipping. I used to get mine done at Snapfish but now use York. Another one is ScrapbookPictures but they are a bit pricey for the larger prints but I've been able to find some coupons at my LSS. 2Peas also offers printing but I've never used them.

I haven 't found anywhere to print a 12x12.....Winkflash.com prints 8x10 for 1.99, and has a flat rate shipping of .99 no matter how many prints you order.

It's pricey but www.scrapbookpictures.com will print 12 x 12 - they charge $5.49 plus shipping.
