Cost of DDP when booking from the UK or US

Did you know the cost of booking the DDP through the UK WDW site is $33.98 (at an exchange rate of $1.7) whereas I understand for guests in the US and for DVC members the cost is $37.99. Not a huge difference but it mounts up when you times this figure by 4 people over 2 weeks.

Interestingly I can go to the home page of the WDW US site but it won't let me navigate through any of the other pages.
