Resorts provide pack-n-plays and bedrails for free. If you want a full size crib there are off-site rental companies. I had very good service from A Baby's Best Friend - www.abbf.com
Regarding the Pack & Play, do you know if it is the kind with the bassinet inside (it raises the floor of the pack and play so that it's only about a foot below the top walls, for a small baby?) We were debating bringing our own Pack & Play down, but if it is the same kind of crib, then I'd be wiling to use theirs -- if it has the bassinet to raise the floor up.
The one we had aways back did not have the bassinet - it was just a simple pack n play and then they brought a sheet for the bottom. I didn't need the bassinet so I never asked, however, I don't think they have them.
Wow, what a speedy reply! Thank you so much! Now we're just debating whether we need to bring ours or not. Our baby has a habit of waking up if he feels himself being "lowered." I don't know if we can get him in and out of the full depth of the Pack & Play without waking him. Decisions, decisions
