Cost of BWV Points through Disney

Does anyone know what Disney is now charging for BWV points? I understand that you would probably need to Waitlist for them. I am trying to compare the point cost I see at TTS.

BWV points are $104 per point through Disney.

No closing costs for those add-on points if bought through Disney.

There are no incentives when buying any property other than AKV...so chances are good that you can find a better deal via resale for BWV (especially if you find a contract that has quite a few useable points). Good luck!

Here is the current cost (per point) reported for existing DVC resorts. Add-ons will have a 25 point minimum and new purchases have a 160 point minimum (with the exception of new purchases at AKV where the current incentive allows a 100 point purchase). Add-ons thru DVC will have no closing costs. New purchases at AKV (and possibly SSR) do have additional closing expenses.

OKW - $101 - these points carry the January 31, 2057 expiration. Most resales still expire in 2042.

VB - $92 - for purchases of less than 50 points - $87 for 50 or more points. Expires January 31, 2042.

HH - $92 - for purchases of less than 50 points - $87 for 50 or more points. Expires January 31, 2042.

BWV - $104 per point. Expires January 31, 2042.

VWL - $101 per point. Expires January 31, 2042.

BCV - $104 per point. Expires January 31, 2042.

SSR - $104 per point. Expires January 31, 2054. There may still be an incentive of $10 per point for new purchase - but DVC lists this resort as "officially" sold out.

AKV - $104 per point. Expires January 31, 2057. Current incentive is $8 per point with minimum purchase of 100 points.

My guide told me that a new sale (Waitlisted) at the BCV was $106/point with no closing costs. I asked twice about the closing costs and he said no both times. This is what I think I am Waitlisted for.
Is he wrong or did things change recently?

I think the only closing costs are for first-time purchases at AKV (and SSR) and not for purchases of the other resorts.

I've not seen reports of BCV being increased to $106 - but that is possible.

I just got on the waitlist for the BCV today and was told the price was $104 a point for 160 points.

BWV is a great resort in every way. We bought there through Disney but I would have done it through TTS if I could do it over again. You will be glad to own there, it is the best resort I have ever stayed at

Rarely. There are some incentives for VB and HHI right now.

As for BCV -- forget it.

Pricing for HH and VB are both $92 for purchases of fewer than 50 points - but for 50 or more points the "incentive" price is $87. You can still likely find a resale for far less. Annual fees at HH for 2008 are $5.16 per point.

I spoke to my guide Michael last night.
He stated that he doesn't know where the confusion of $106 vs $104 for BCV came from. I truly thought he told me BCV was $106/point.
At any rate it is $104/point.
I am sorry if I caused any confusion.
